01. Ready to stop drinking? Start here.
Have you decided that drinking isn’t working in your life anymore?
You’re not alone.
And drinking (or not drinking) doesn’t need to define your whole life.
I’m Casey.
I’m a Certified Life Coach who works with women who have decided that drinking isn’t working in their lives anymore, and it’s time to quit.
I created this audio message to introduce you to my Free 30-Day Guide To Quitting Drinking, 30 Tips For Your First Month Alcohol-Free. Get the free guide here.
I hope as you listen to this message you’ll begin to think of quitting drinking as the ultimate act of self care.
You may have a lot of fears about what your life will look like once you stop drinking. I know I did.
I was afraid I’d never have fun again. That I wouldn’t laugh, relax, be able to enjoy vacations, be able to have fun on dates, or be able to fit in at work if I didn’t drink.
I worried about what people would say and think about me if I admitted that I needed to stop.
But I want to reassure you, quitting drinking does not need to mean you live a life of deprivation and isolation.
And, despite what popular culture tries to tell us, you don’t need to label yourself, admit you have a disease, say you’re powerless or attend meetings for the rest of your life.
You don’t have to label yourself an alcoholic to quit drinking.
You simply have to decide that drinking is taking more away from your life, from your happiness and health, than it is adding.
And if you’re just starting this journey, and wrapping your head around the idea that you may want to stop drinking, I know this is scary.
I’m really proud of you. It’s big, and important, and brave.
You’re ready to give up an unhealthy habit that’s not serving you, and seeking support to make this change.
You can do this. I know you can. I’m rooting for you!
