Ten years ago, I couldn’t get past Day 4 without drinking. I was exhausted, anxious, overwhelmed, and quietly terrified about where my life was headed if nothing changed.
Today marks a full decade alcohol-free—and when I look back, what moves me most isn’t just that I stopped drinking. It’s how that one decision changed the trajectory of my entire life… and my family’s life too.

🩷 My marriage improved.
🩷 My patience and confidence increased.
🩷 My anxiety, shame and imposter syndrome decreased.
🩷 My relationship with my kids became closer.
🩷 I became more optimistic and outgoing.
🩷 I left my corporate career.
🩷 I went back to school and started coaching women in sobriety, launched this podcast.
🩷 I made connections with the most interesting people.
🩷 My world got bigger, more impactful and purposeful.
But the most meaningful part? The women I’ve met on the alcohol-free path.
The women I’ve worked with, coached, laughed with, texted with, cried with, and watched grow. The women who once felt stuck and ashamed and exhausted—and now feel clear, confident, proud, and strong. The women who trusted me with their stories, their fears, and their truth. The women who became my friends.
